Avalon Airport is home to low cost aircraft Jetstar. Tiger Airways are set to start operating from the facility as of 10th November 2010. It is also the location for the Avalon International Airshow - held every second year.
Jetstar offers flights direct to Avalon from Sydney and Brisbane. Whilst Tiger Airways are set to fly to Sydney, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Rockhampton, Adelaide, Perth and Mackay as of 10th November 2010.
Both Jetstar and Tiger Airways take pride in keeping costs to a minimum. It is now very affordable and easy to fly down to spend a weekend in Melbourne, Geelong or along the Great Ocean Road.
